HumanScapes is a festival that combines musical and visual experimentation through the
realisation of two dedicated events taking place at the Cineporto of Bari and Lecce. Both ventures
draw inspiration from the “Transtv” audiovisual fund, developed through the project “Oggetti
Smarriti”, consisting of about 50 hours of amateur and home videos shot in 8mm, Super8 and 16
mm over a time span going back to the 40s up to the 80s. A precious heritage of exceptional value
we intended to promote and revisit through the artistic contribution of some of the most engaging
talents in the Italian electronic music scene.
HumanScapes was realized thanks to Archivio Italiano dei Paesaggi Sonori and the art label Oak
Editions as well as with the support of Apulia Film Commission and Regione Puglia.
